WHAT’S THE GAME PLAN?
Show Up for Yourself

Today’s game plan is inspired by a post I saw from athlete, Marcus Allen and his affirmations on his mirror. It got me thinking about how important it is to show up for ourselves daily, from the moment we get up to the moment we go to bed. It’s important to remember that there’s not just one way to show up for yourself and it can look different for everyone.
I hope today’s game plan encourages you to keep showing up for yourself in some way.
Here are 4 things on showing up for yourself: ⬇️
1.PRACTICE SELF-FORGIVENESS
We often blame ourselves for things beyond our control. Even if it's not your fault, offer yourself grace and forgiveness. Remember that in many situations, you had the best intentions, but life happens.
Forgive yourself and move forward with understanding and self- love. Being hard on yourself won’t bring you closer to your goals. Showing up for yourself is also about embracing self-compassion and giving yourself the space to grow at your own pace.
2.GOD SHOWS UP WHEN YOU DO
One thing I know for sure is God is never late, and His plan is always perfect. A lot of times, I fail to remember that God wants me to show up for myself and I can’t leave all the work to Him. He shows up for those who show up for themselves.
God wants to see us take action, and when we do, He handles the rest.
3.LET OTHERS SHOW UP FOR YOU
We often think that showing up for ourselves means doing it all alone, but part of that journey is allowing others to support us. It’s okay to receive and ask for help. God puts certain people in your path for a reason. Be open to help and let the people around you show up for you, too.
4.DON’T GIVE AWAY YOUR POWER
Don’t let anyone else decide how you feel about yourself, and most importantly, don’t let others define who you are. You decide who YOU are. Don’t let others influence how you treat yourself or how you see yourself. Negativity is heavy and your self-worth should never be influenced or weighed down by the opinions of others.
That’s it. That’s the game plan for this week.
I hope this helps you remember to show up for yourself in some way this week.
Remember, 1% better every day, and small wins are WINS!

LAST LAP IG CAPTIONS 🎧

The turtle race continues.
Wonder who gon' fix my heart, I wonder who gon' wipe my tears.
Let me watch my seeds grow and flourish.
Snakes with handshakes, crossed and crooked smiles.
Every step I take, I can hear you say, 'Keep going.
Gotta keep going in my brain, but in my heart, I'm feeling pain.
Let the haters do what haters do.
Fast offense, don't never huddle.
the grindin' don't stop, and the shinin' just begin.
Vibin' like I'm alone in this.
Is it just me or it ain't no love no more?
Protectin' my heart with chains, that’s where I’m at.
The best has yet to come.
Let your soul fly.
Watching film, yeah, I'm scoping.
Through all of the pain, I stay true to this game.
You waited too late to make it right
Time is everything.
Looking for myself, I get lost sometimes.
Sometimes I miss the past and how things were in the beginning.
Don't love me 'til you're ready.
I'm just a realist, probably the realest.
BALL CLUB NEWS
I want to be more intentional about sharing what I’m doing to build the Ball Club brand aside from just being an “Instagram page mood board”.
As we continue to release new products, I would like to take you behind the scenes of how we’re growing the Ball Club beyond just a page.
Our next drop will be part of what we’re calling the Sunday Collection, which will include our quote, “Set goals, get coffee, get fly.”
The goal behind the Sunday Collection is to feature uplifting quotes and reminders that inspire positivity. Each piece serves as a reminder to set intentions for the week ahead and encourages you to embrace the good in every day.
The first drop from the Sunday Collection will be a hat, but we will also be looking to drop a hoodie and a tee.
We are currently working on the hoodie sample. I’ll share it on our socials as soon as it’s ready.
“The Motto” hat is available for pre-order today (October 14th) for our newsletter subscribers and will end on Saturday, October 19th.
Hat pre-orders will ship after November 20th. We will keep you updated on our newsletter or via IG stories.
I appreciate you for all the support! I hope you like the new drop.
