QUOTE OF THE WEEK

WHAT’S THE GAME PLAN?
THIS IS FOR ANYONE WHO'S STARTING SOMETHING NEW

Q2 of 2025 is in full swing. Any day is a good day to start something new—but there’s something special about starting fresh at the beginning of a new quarter.

That said, there are a few things to keep in mind when you're starting something new.

Here are 3 things to remember ⬇️

1.YOU WILL DOUBT YOURSELF. IT’S OKAY.

It’s scary to try new things and jump into the unknown. The growing process is ugly. And at times, it can be anything but exciting.

But the people who accept this and face it head-on are the ones who succeed.

We might have negative thoughts. We might wonder if we’re even going in the right direction. We’ll even question ourselves and feel unsure. But that’s all normal.

It’s normal for doubt to show up and for fear to
try to talk us out of doing the things we want—or need—to do.

Let those thoughts come, but don’t let them stop you.

2.YOU WILL BE LOST. IT’S OKAY.

It’s scary to be a beginner. No one likes to put themselves in a position of not knowing what they’re doing.

And maybe that’s why so many people never reach their full potential—because we're afraid of the unknown that comes with starting something new.

We’re too afraid of showing up as beginners—of looking inexperienced, making mistakes, or not having all the answers.

But when you’re starting something new, it’s normal not to know what you’re doing or to know if you’re even going in the right direction. But the only way to figure it out… is to keep moving.

3.YOU WON’T SEE RESULTS INSTANTLY. IT’S OKAY.

It might take months. It might take years. That’s okay.

One of the hardest parts—for me at least—is knowing that, accepting it, and coming to terms with it. Sometimes we see someone at level 100 and think we’re supposed to be there too. But life isn’t a cheat code. We can’t skip levels—we have to go through them one by one. That’s how you learn the game.

I’ve been running Ball Club for nearly six years, and I can honestly say I’m not even at 10% of where I want to be.
Most people would’ve quit after a few months or one year of not seeing results.

So if you’re starting something new this quarter, remember: everything you go through in the learning process is part of the journey.

No motion, no magic. No fear.

That’s it.
That’s the game plan.

Remember, 1% better every day, and small wins are WINS!
