Happy Tuesday! Thanks for tuning in for our newsletter, edition #21! Apologies for the delay, I was supposed to send this out yesterday.

WHAT’S THE GAME PLAN?

Keep Making Plays
Today’s game plan is inspired by a video I saw of Deion Sanders where he said “keep making plays” (watch here). So, this week’s game plan is all about making plays.
What do I mean by making plays?
I mean keep showing up, keep making moves, keep grinding.
You want to know something about making plays? Most people don’t.
Most people don’t show up every day. They will have an off day and then that will lead to another one, and another one. Before they know it, they’re on a 7 day streak of not showing up. But you’re different.

Here are 4 ways to keep making plays ⬇️

1. DAILY REPS

The only way we can truly get better at anything is by putting in daily reps.
Want to be a better athlete? Train daily.
Want to be a better writer? Write daily.
Want to be a better run? Run daily.
Want to be a better creator? Create daily.
And guess what happens when you do something daily?
You get better at it. You get stronger at it.
Big or small, get your daily reps in.

2.GO WITH YOUR MIND, NOT YOUR EMOTIONS.

Your mind will be your greatest motivator. It will tell you to keep going.
But your emotions might hold you back. Sometimes we don’t feel like putting in the work, but just because we don’t feel like doing it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t.
If we think about some of the greatest athletes, they never stop to think if they feel like doing the work, they just do it. If we want to be above average, we need to adopt this same mindset.
Whether we feel like it or not, the work needs to get done. 

3. BE ON OFFENSE

What does it mean to be on offense?
YOU control your day.
YOU control your mindset.
YOU control how you feel.
YOU are in full control of your life.
YOU control the plays.
Don’t give anyone the power to control your actions, decisions or thoughts.
You set your goals and make the necessary moves to achieve them.
You don't wait for opportunities; you create them.
On offense, you call the shots. 

4. CELEBRATE YOUR WINS

One thing about making plays, you need to celebrate yourself when you do things right.
I know the job might not be done but guess what? You owe it to yourself to celebrate every win. Because ultimately, every win is getting you closer to you main goal.
A win is a win. Celebrate them all.

That’s it. That’s the game plan.
Keep making plays, keep showing up, keep making moves,
because guess what? Your moment will come.

Remember, 1% better every day, and small wins are WINS!
