QUOTE OF THE WEEK

WHAT’S THE GAME PLAN?
A GAME PLAN FOR MENTAL TOUGHNESS

Mental toughness is all about being able to see challenges as opportunities for personal growth. It’s about having the confidence in yourself despite obstacles and having the mental strength to stay focused under pressure.

Today’s game plan is all about helping you stay mentally fit this year.

Here are 3 tips for mental toughness ⬇️

1.Don’t let negativity and doubt control you

Mental toughness isn’t just about always being positive. The reality is negative thoughts and doubt are going to creep in when you’re doing something hard. It’s normal, you’re human.

The goal is to not let those negative thoughts and doubt control you or stop you from doing what you want to do. Mental toughness is about staying locked in and focused when things get tough.
Don’t let your negative emotions control you, you control them.

2. Silence the noise

Pay attention to what you consume.
Negative news, bad advice, opinions of others, all of these are things that can affect you. You have to silence the noise in order to stay focused. Guard your mindset by not letting outside noise deter or distract you from where you’re going.
Maintain your tunnel vision.

3. Meditation, Mindfulness & Sleep

When you think of great athletes like Kobe Bryant, you sometimes think they were just born being mentally tough. But that’s not necessarily true.
Just like physical fitness, mental toughness involves training and practice.
In this video, Kobe shares how meditation helped him improve as an athlete, which ultimately, helped with this mental toughness.

Okay. That’s it. That’s the game plan.
Mental toughness is a skill you can develop.
But just like physical fitness, we need to put in those daily reps to stay mentally fit and ready for obstacles that come our way.

Remember, 1% better every day, and small wins are WINS!
