WHAT’S THE GAME PLAN?
24 Things I learned in 2024 Pt. 1

For today’s game plan I’ll be sharing with you my 24 lessons learned from 2024.
I hope these inspire you to reflect o the lessons you learned this year as well.

1.Cut the time between planning and execution.
You don’t want to get stuck in the planning phase for so long that you decide you don’t want to do the thing you were trying to do. Start, and figure it out as you go.

2.If you love something so much you will show up for it every day.
You will show up for it for months, and you will show up for it for years if you have to—yes, even when you don’t see results.

3. “Most people don't start because they don't want to be seen
starting at the bottom.”
You have to be bad before you get good. A lot of times, people won’t even start something because they don’t want to look like a beginner. They’re embarrassed to be in this phase.
Worrying about this will keep you stuck. If you mess up, f*ck it. Who cares what others will say? At least it shows you have the courage to try something new.

4.Get out of your head.
Sometimes, our biggest obstacles and our biggest enemy is the person staring back at us in the mirror.

5.Negativity is heavy.
Negative people, negative news, negative comments.
It can affect you and how you move.
I know we can’t get rid of all negativity, but the goal is to try to not let it hold us down for too long.

6. The work builds confidence.
Confidence in what we’re doing won’t magically fall into our lap.
Confidence will come from putting in the work.

7. “I finally found my rhythm when I realized that
even the steps backward were part of the dance.” - Melody Godfred
Sheesh. Read this one over as many times as you need to.
Even the steps we thought didn’t move us forward are part the journey.
Every misstep and every stumble are what make your story unique and worth sharing.

8. It doesn’t need to be perfect you just need to start.
You don’t need to be 100% ready or 100% perfect to begin.

9.You’re never too old to chase your dreams. 
I don’t know who tf made this rule that it’s too late
but f*ck that. It’s never too late.

10. Keep creating.
This doesn’t just have to apply to content creation.
Paint, write, make music, dance, do pottery.
Creating is good for the soul.

11. “The day you plant the seed is not the day you eat the fruit.”
We live in a world were we always want quick results.
But just because you don’t see results right away doesn’t mean progress isn’t happening.

12. Don’t let people put you into a box.
Just because you’ve been doing something for so long doesn’t mean you can’t switch lanes and try something new. Growth is about exploration, not limitation.

Too often, we let how others view us dictate the moves we make. It’s like we almost start to believe the things they think about us.

Don’t give anyone the power to define your path—you’re the one who gets to decide who you are and where you’re going.

That’s it. That’s the game plan.
For the next 36 days that are left in 2024, think about what you will take with you
into the next year and what you will leave behind.

Remember, 1% better every day, and small wins are WINS!
