WHAT’S THE GAME PLAN?
Q4 is officially here. Today's game plan is all about how to end the year strong. I’ll make this super quick because let me be honest, Negeen Fallahzadeh’s interview is a lot more interesting than what I have to say.
Here are 4 ways to end Q4 strong ⬇️
1. WRITE DOWN YOUR WINS
Yes, I know. Last newsletter I said celebrate your wins but this time I’m saying WRITE down your wins. It doesn’t have to be today, but at some point before the end of the year take the time to write down EVERY win that comes to mind. Big or small, doesn’t matter, we don’t worry about that around here, a win is a win.
2.SAY NO
How many times did you say 'yes' to something this year that wasn't serving you? This is your Q4 reminder to say 'no' to whatever doesn't serve you and your goals. If it's not moving you forward, say 'no.' Saying 'no' allows you to make space for things that matter the most to you.
3. “I WANT TO THANK ME”

Yes, I said that. Thank YOURSELF. Have you taken the time to say ‘thank you’ to yourself? Thank you for not giving up. Thank you for working hard. Thank you for showing up when you didn’t want to. Thank you for taking care of your mental and physical health. I could go on and on. We say thank you to everyone else, why not to ourselves? Saying thank you to yourself is also a form of self-care and self-respect.
4. REST
I know, you probably weren’t expecting this one. But rest is just as important, if not more, than movement. When we rest, we give our body and mind the opportunity to recharge and recover. Rest is not a sign of weakness but an important investment in our physical, mental, and emotional well-being
That’s it. That’s the game plan.
End strong to start strong.
To start next year on a strong note, you need to end this year strong.
The momentum you end this year with will carry on to 2024.
Remember, 1% better every day, and small wins are WINS!

Can you share a little about yourself and how you got started in the social media industry?
So my story goes back to June 2014, I was the the VP of my junior class in Highschool and I had this idea to have my idol speak at my high school graduation In June of 2015. I had one year to make it happen, get NBA all star Dwyane Wade to be a special guest at my classes graduation ceremony. Having no connections like I do now, where I can call up Dwade at any time, I went old school full fledged marketing and wrote a letter to physically mail out to any address I found that can get dwades attention— his non profit, the miami heat arena, his sister, his sock company (lol). I dm’ed this letter to him every single week to his instagram inbox, to UD, Mario Chalmers, all his teammates, I blew up instagram and twitter to try and get his attention. Along with my letter, all marketing campaigns need a catchy hashtag, my high school’s name was “western high school” so my hashtag was #WadetoWestern. And that hashtag went VIRAL! After a couple months I got my entire school, not just my class, my school of 5,000 people to help me promote on social media my campaign I reached out to local radio shows for help as well. I can go on and on, but I eventually made this happen.
And I was surprised at my graduation. I never heard a word from Dwade. I was called up on stage on June 4th 2015 to shout me out for my efforts of trying to get Dwade and to impact I had on my class being the prom queen as well, and all of a sudden, Dwayne wade popped up on stage and surprised me and my entire class! And gave a 10-15 minute long speech. Standing next to my idol, my role model, that was the moment I knew I have a gift and a talent. I wanted to be a dr but long story short I fell out of that, I began running social media and operations for a fast casual restaurant I helped build from the ground up. After my transition there the pandemic hit so I had to start from ground up, I had a dream to work with Brandon Marshall since his gym was located 2 min away from my house, I started making smoothies in his gym and on my first day of work Brandon pulled me into his office and told me that I’m not gonna make smoothies and he wants me to run his gym, his podcast, and his personal social media. And now I run his personal social media, I AM Athlete, and all brands that I Am Athlete/Brandon creates. I also built up House of Athlete and House of Athlete performances pages.
How would you describe your role at I AM ATHLETE?
I am often told by anyone I work with/have worked with at I Am Athlete that I am a unicorn. I run social media and all digital marketing for the I Am Athlete media agency. I also help with our PR and personally assist to Brandon’s day to day life. I Develop and execute social and digital strategy for many platforms including Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc. I am on 24/7 cause social media does not sleep!
What’s your favorite part about the work that you do?
I am living In my purpose, to tell the athletes story in their own narrative and to protect them and BLOW their name up while I do it. My favorite part as well is the connections and relationships I have created, I get to work for an NFL legend who has become like a good friend to me and work alongside my best friend Nocap who is our main content creator. I get to create content and work along side of athletes and artists I used to look up to as a kid. Its pretty surreal getting to collab with lil Wayne, Deion Sanders, Dez Bryant, George foremen, and many more people I would have never imagined working with.
There is no netter feeling than seeing the work I strategized executed and created being posted across platforms like the NFL, espn, the athlete themselves, across ALL platforms.
If you could give someone a piece of advice who’s trying to break into the sports industry, what would it be?
Dont take “no” for an answer. Be allergic to the word no, never stop learning, and find a way to get your foot in the door! If you really want something, you can make it happen. I did it.
Now about Naturall, have you always been interested in fashion? What inspired you to launch your own brand?
So my brand goes deeper than fashion. Yes growing up I was always complemented on my workout clothes and my very interesting style, but what inspired me to create Naturall was an idea that hit me right when the pandemic hit. Im a huge advocate about being all natural and working hard for your body etc. Im not against people getting work done on your body But it goes even deeper than just the looks of someone, being YOU is being “all natural” being authentic real and genuine as a human being is what Imean. I put the word all and natural together to create “Naturall” You look good, you feel good, ɴᴀᴛᴜʀᴀʟʟ was created to make athleisure clothing thatfits like shapewear, feels like loungewear, and performs like activewear.
Can you tell us more about the brand and its mission?
Our goal is to make trendy and comfortable clothing that can fit many body types in order for you to show off your naturall body in--with the goal to eventually steer away from generic sizing labels "small, medium, large".
As a new brand owner, what’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learned on this journey so far?
As a new brand owner, what’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learned on this journey so far?
When you have an idea, make it come to life! Its the most beautiful thing to see my brand come to life... all my friends supporting me by sharing my posts, buying my outfits, and completing my outfit when they see it on me makes me feel so whole. I love to work hard and seeing my handwork out in the world now attached to my name is a great feeling.
What advice would you give to someone who is looking to start their own brand?
What I said above hahah When you have an idea, make it come to life! Don’t thinktwice. Make it happen. Focus and go all in. INVEST in yourself.
What’s next for you in your career? Are there any upcoming projects or collaborations you’re excited about?
Just wait on whats next...Im always up to something since I am “The social media queen”.

Diamonds do the silly dance, I raise up the wine glass
Not sayin' I'm the best at what I do I'm just sayin' that it's me versus whoever wanna lose
The days are goin' by, it's like I'm livin' in time-lapse
How can you keep it buck if you ain’t got no bucks?
